Gelatin preparation tanks are used to melt gelatin for the softgel capsule process.
The tanks are fitted with a water filled jacket that is heated to pre-set temperatures by electric heaters mounted in the base of the tank.
During the melting process paddle impellers stir the solution while vacuum is applied for deaeration.
Whether your producing standard animal gelatin and/or vegatable gelatin (Vgel) we have tanks to meet your needs.
Since Vgel is more viscous than standard animal gelatin, Vgel gelatin melting tanks are designed to provide higher torque and higher temperatures.
